This report is an interim review of the province of Noord-Brabant’s Energy Implementation Programme. It examines the effectiveness of the policies pursued in the province to date, assessing the extent to which targets have been secured. It explains and analyses the steps taken in various processes, the results already achieved and those projected for 2020 and, where feasible, 2050. Following an analysis of strengths and weaknesses, a series of recommendations are made.
In tandem with additional input from a thinktank, this review provides a basis for further policy elaboration, giving the provincial executive a handle for effective use of remaining funds in the second half of the current governing period.
