Nina Voulis

Nina Voulis, PhD

As a researcher and consultant at CE Delft, Nina is bringing her skills to bear on the energy transition and sustainability in the urban environment. Nina has in-depth knowledge of green generating technologies, modelling of energy demand in the built-up environment and translating technical and economic aspects of the energy transition into policy measures.
With a background in both systems engineering and environmental technology, Nina excels in the multidisciplinary approach required when it comes to the complexities of the energy transition. She obtained her doctorate at Delft University of Technology (Systems Engineering section) with work on the role of utilities in the energy transition in the urban environment. At the University of Ghent, Belgium, she subsequently graduated as an environmental engineer. With her broad as well as in-depth expertise she now advises government and industry, supporting them on the complex issues involved in energy and sustainability in the urban environment.
