Stefanie van de Water

Stefanie van de Water joined CE Delft in 2018 as a researcher/consultant in the Energy division. Prior to that she worked for over three years at the Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) on the Energy directorate, which is responsible for regulating and overseeing Dutch electricity and gas grid operators. There, Stefanie was engaged mainly in quality control (reliability, safety, etc.) and updating operating codes (energy market rules). At ACM she also supervised a scheme for decentralised experiments in sustainability. Stefanie has a bachelor’s in Applied Physics and a master’s in Sustainable Energy Technology, with a specialisation in ‘Energy and Society’ (Innovation sciences). Her main interest is thus on the interface between technology and society.
